Members of an eight-person panel chaired by Dr Deirdre madden, Faculty of Law, University College Cork, spoke briefly and then dealt with questions and comments during a successful session lasting more than 2½ hours.

The panel comprised:

• Kevin O’Connor, Funeral Director, Jerh O’Connor & Co.
• Orla Jennings, CUH Social Worker
• Michael Egan, Living Links (Suicide Bereavement)

The proceedings of this session, and all our public meetings in towns and cities, will be considered as part of the Report being compiled on the Forum on End of Life.
