Irish Water Safety
Irish Water Safety, congratulating Róisín Clarke on a "very successful" Forum 2011, welcomed the work underway by the National Council, particularly the review of systems for pronouncing, certifying and registering death. IWS is concerned by the high level of drownings by suicide, and refers to its press release (below) on World Suicide Day, on September 10 last.
